Newly-Engaged Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Pack On PDA At Golden Globes

Newly-engaged Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco had a romantic date night at the Golden Globes to kick off 2025.

The couple packed on the PDA as they sat next to each other at their table, as well as on the red carpet, sharing kisses and holding hands.

And, of course, their recent engagement was mentioned by the night's host, Nikki Glaser, as she poked fun at the lovebirds. Glaser told the crowd, "A double nominee tonight for Emelia Perez and Only Murders, and she's here with her new fiance, Benny Blanco. And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish." The couple were good sports and awkwardly laughed at the joke.

Selena was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for her role in Netflix's Emilia Pérez — her co-star, Zoe Saldaña ended up taking home the trophy. Gomez was also up for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role as Mabel in Hulu's Only Murders In The Building, a prize that ultimately ended up going to Jean Smart for Max's Hacks.

Gomez and Blanco still had a wonderful night, as they were both seen chatting it up with other nominees and celebrities, and even showed off Selena's stunning engagement ring to her Only Murders co-star, Martin Short.
