While Britney Spears' conservatorship appears to be coming to an end, Amanda Bynes still has a ways to go with her own. The former Amanda Show TV star originally had a conservatorship status meeting scheduled for this week, however, the judge pushed the meeting back until March 8, 2023.

Bynes' family was first granted a temporary conservatorship in 2013, following an incident that saw Bynes hospitalized under a 72-hour mental-health evaluation hold. Her mother received conservatorship again in 2014, following an incident in which Bynes took to sharing a series of bizarre posts on Twitter.

Last February, Bynes also took to social media to share her own conservatorship story. She had asked to see a judge regarding her conservatorship, with the arrangement initially set to expire last August. "I have been going to a treatment center that charges $5,200," the actress revealed last year. "There's no reason why I shouldn't go to a therapist who takes my insurance for $5,000 less a month."

According to legal documents that had initially been obtained by TMZ, Bynes' conservatorship will need to file its next update by January 2023. Over the past few years, Bynes has managed to remain sober and maintained a relatively low-key persona. The former child star shared last year that she had been "in treatment" towards the beginning of the pandemic to strengthen her "coping skills."

Bynes has also been pursuing a Bachelor's degree in fashion over the past several years and had dropped out of her program several times. She revealed last year that she was back on track with her program, and intends to start her own fashion line. She had also announced her pregnancy with fiancé Paul Michael in 2020, however, it was later reported that Bynes was "no longer pregnant."
