Kate Middleton Debuts New, Gorgeous Off The Shoulder Dress

Kate Middleton is back from maternity leave! She made her official return to royal duties with Prince William on Monday (Oct. 8) following some well deserved time off after welcoming her third child, Prince Louis, in April. During her first solo appearance since her return to royal duties, the Duchess of Cambridge debuted her most stylish look to date. Kate donned a new off the shoulder dress that's simply gorgeous. The fitted, tweed dress by Erdem had a high waisted, deep purple belt and a flared skirt.

Kate wore the beautiful ensemble on a visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum to view the new Photography Centre of the museum. This royal engagement was particularly special for the Duchess of Cambridge because it's the first time she's visited the museum since becoming its first Royal Patron last March. Kate's a fan of re-wearing outfits to public events - she did so on her engagement with William earlier in the week - but such a special occasion certainly calls for an equally special outfit.

Here's Kate's full look from Wednesday night:

She paired the dress with matching Jimmy Choo velvet heels:

Her fabulous crystal and pearl embellished earrings were also from Erdem and they cost a whopping $1,220, according to People

It's so great to see Kate Middleton out and about again. Fingers crossed she gets to go on more royal duties with her new sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, ASAP. That way we get twice the royal fashion. Seriously, who wouldn't want that?
