Drake Donates Over $175,000 To Women's Homeless Shelter, Shoppers & More

While in Miami for his "God's Plan" music video shoot, Drake has been paying it forward to a number of deserving people.

We previously reported that the rapper went to Miami Senior High School and donated $25,000 to the institution as well as told students that OVO would be designing new uniforms for them. We also told you Drizzy donated $50,000 to a pre-dentistry student named Destiny James to help with her college tuition at the University of Miami.

Now, we're learning that Drake had a lot more love to show the good people of Miami. E! News reports that the day after he made the donations to the previously mentioned schools' students, he went to Sabor Tropical Supermarket and bought $50,000 worth of groceries for all the shoppers! "No one knew he was coming at all, we just came to do groceries. Cameras were being set up so we were all wondering what was to happen," shopper Guille Deza told the news outlet.

After that, Drake also donated $50,000 to a women and children's homeless shelter. "Drizzy dropped by Lotus House -- Miami's only shelter for homeless women and children -- and dished out toys and games to 140 kids Tuesday," TMZ reports. "He also handed out $150 Target gift cards to 130 women, and cut a $50,000 check for the organization." The money will go directly to funding the new shelter, which recently opened its doors.

When we calculate the money Drake has given out this week, it totals over $175,000. The 6ix God's Plan is bringing joy everywhere. Amen to that.
